...but we had to put a dog down this evening. i was sitting in my chair when I heard the oldest dog cry out...he was having a seizure. Long story short, we got him to the vet and had him put down. He was a Boxer that was 11 years old. He had developed 3 lumps on his underside, most likely cancer.

What kills me...we were playing on the floor about 45 minutes prior to this, and we were both doing our normal song and dance this morning...like nothing was wrong.

I don't know who's taking it harder...my wife or my kids. My son has been sitting on the porch since we got back tonight, in tears. We've all been crying...

It's like losing a child.
