What a bunch of hard ass people. Congratulations, all you have done is further glorify drinking and defying their parents wishes. ****, Italians learn by age seven or eight not to drink too much and then everything is fine because it's never "taboo" or a forbidden fruit.
Kids are always always going to do exactly the opposite of what their parents tell them ninety percent of the time because they have to learn most things on their own. Remember the first time you learned to make a cut away from your body? Not the first time your dad told you, the time you learned it because you were cutting toward yourself and ended up with a giant gash across your hand lending evidence to the theory it's safer to cut away from your body? It's like that. Sadly just like some people never grow up (in the irresponsible bad way) others literally never learn.
Of all the kids I grew up with across fifteen different states, only one or two of them who had really restrictive parents have made something of themselves. All the rest went ape**** wild in college, many dropped out, some came into the family way and dropped out, and a few graduated and found jobs not commensurate with their level of education.
