The fact of the matter is that historically, all rebels and patriots who have effected change or began and participated in any revolution are guilty as hell of sedition and treason. Every last one of them are guilty as charged. The word, "revolution" literally means to turn around.

The American revolution which began by the writing and signing of the Declaration of Independence which ultimately gave rise to the creation of the United States of America is considered by most Americans as a good and honorable cause. According to many, other revolutions or acts of 'civil disobedience' are acts of sedition, treason and are dishonorable.
