What, Dean's scream? Not in the same county.
Word is people are agitating for Sajak's firing. Whether or not sponsors speak with their wallets remains to be seen. Sajak's audience might not know or care about this. But who knows.
This is a good bad example of what paying too much attention to the noise-scape will get you. His supporters on the Right claim that he was mocking greenies who said AGW deniers are unpatriotic racists. I suspect that happened in a noticeable public way about as often as someone like Sajak uttered the opposite but equal line, which is, rarely. But Limbaugh, Hannity, Beck, and Levin pick it up and rail on it for a few days, going on about clueless leftie greenies, and then bring it up at odd moments sort of like "Algore claims to have invented the internet" and hard core political junkies begin to think it a standard item, open for mockery.
But the much larger body of normal people never heard the one or two leftie hothead gadflies back when so they think Sajak is making the remark in earnest.
