I used to manage an auto parts store that had a fleet of Toyota 22R powered trucks, and the drivers used to do the same thing everyday. Except that we had to pay for the motors not them.
In all the years I worked there, the only thing that killed those motors was blown timing covers because the timing chain was worn out and the drivers wouldn't check the fluids until the motor went bang.
