Having had to deal with Okie trash who bought an item from me on Ebay WITHOUT READING THE DESCRIPTION and then left bad feedback after getting exactly what I described makes me miserable, yeah. I did eventually make a deal with the Okie that he would retract the feedback after sending the item back and getting his money (minus my costs) back, but that took time. I made sure to post his name, phone #, email (to provide fodder for spam bots) and address on a "buyers to avoid" board after all was settled.

The EBay of 5-6 years ago allowed sellers to leave bad feedback on problem buyers, so buyers thought twice and tried to resolve issues BEFORE leaving bad feedback. Not to mention a certain buyer who bid on an item, never paid or contacted me, then started whining when I re-sold the item a few weeks later to another buyer after an unpaid item case. Again, wasn't allowed to leave bad feedback on the little turd.

Unless you've tried to sell items on EBay recently, you probably haven't noticed how much the changes in EBay's policies have enabled problem buyers. I much preferred EBay when it was a service to match small-time buyers and sellers on equal terms, not a glorified version of Amazon.com with an auction format.
