Well, whatever this material is, the cool iron didn't do anything for it. Her Baccalaureate was last night, and I don't think we saw a single person without factory fold wrinkles in their gown. Graduation is Friday, so she's going to take the gown to the dry cleaners to be properly pressed.

At my HS, we didn't get to keep the gowns, only the caps. The gowns were all pressed by the school and handed to us in great shape. Here, we had to buy both, and while new, the gown looks like it was slept in.

After last night's ceremony, I believe the district should fire the chorus teacher. The soloist sure knew her notes...and I think she made up a few as she went along. Two of them made my eyes go cross, and she hit one that made my wife's face twist in pain. Now I now why my daughter thinks she has a beautiful singing voice...and why my dogs run when she sings.

On a brighter "note", though...the ceremony last night was beautiful. There was a Preacher that offered a 10 minute prayer, where my son promptly fell asleep and I began to nod off, and the Catholic Priest offered a list of 18 inspirational passages from the Bible...each with a humorous story as examples for the grads. Then it was picture time. We took over 100 pictures, had a few family shots taken, and some goofy pictures as well.

I'll spare you the pictures, but tell you that it was very enjoyable.
