I've got one in the MB's trunk.

My other car has a -usually red or even white-hot turbocharger, (19 psi boost!), right next to fuel and oil lines.. -The fire extinguisher is within reach of a hand at any time! (mounted in front of pass. seat)

Better safe than crispy..
