Even better than a Fire Extinguisher

I carried a fire extinguisher in the car for years. When I finally had a Nissan 200SX catch fire, it didn't work, and I had to unvbolt the battery in a rainstorm on 49th Street in Hialeah while being honked at by idiots who seemed to think that the car fire was intentional and that I possessed a way of making both myself and my car disappear into the firmament, and this could be done by them honking.

Since then, I put a quick-release on the battery of every car I own. They cost about $15.00 and unlike a fire extinguisher, never dry up.

All you have to do is twist the cap three turns and the battery is disconnected.

Really cheap insurance
