The current poll referenced above does show that Republican attempts at rehabing Bush's time in office are working. If they can keep this up they will be able to admit that Bush was President for eight years and be able to stop carrying on about how he was not a real Conservative.

That high ? More like barely 40%.
Comparing Bush against Obama. Bush got hammered with 9/11 and Katrina, and a few other issues which the LWNJs claim he "knew" in advance of these issues. Obama got elected on a platform which centered on his complaining about these events and their results or how they were handled. Sounds fair to me.
I would say at this point they are in a dead tie, however, Obama has two more years to hopefully clean up his act. So far, blaming Bush for everything got him into office but it also caused Obama's party to lose control of the House and most likely the Senate in November. So, control of the Congress when Obama took office to perhaps no control. Great Success there.
Don't overestimate the community organizer ... he has two more years and that's a lot of time for bigger and better scandals. Right now, Obama has virtually no credibility, you know "You can keep your doctor.Period." and "not a smidge" ... and the list goes on. Not a very honest person and the public and media is no longer looking the other way. Obama will always have his voter base no matter what, but a few trillion here or there should buy some loyal votes.
