Hi, I'm going to buy a nice set of leather front seats for my car tomorrow. Today I got the passenger side out of mine and found out that the seat height adjustment mechanism was corroded so badly that it didn't work. After repairing that I want to know if the seats can be put in with the height adjuster mounted in place. I unbolted it when I removed the seat and was surprised when the large spring came apart. Any help will be greatly appreciated! Greg.
