Been a while...

Anybody know what kind of signal triggers our electronic speedos?
What about the tach, temp and oil pressure?

I have been dabbling around with arduino... an open source microcontroller. I just need to know what our gauges accept as signals so I can make the arduino control it using whatever signal I can get from the sending units.
