Republicans have long been accused of doing nothing in their jobs but cashing their checks. The only good thing that could be said of this was at least they were not cashing them at the liquor store.

The Republican answer for this critical view of their way of doing, or actually not doing, things was to tell the voters that they should be judged by what they did not do and not by what they did.

And tonight, the voters judged Cantor for all of his hard work to make sure that no hard work could ever be done.

And anyone that thinks the left is sad to see Cantor gone is delusional. The Tea Party guy may not be the sharpest political guy around (yet) but I doubt that he will go to DC just to be ornamental.
