I smoked for 30 years or so (15 to 45). I dodged the grim reaper's reach 22 years ago with a quintuple bypass.
If E-cigs or variants are free of health risks, have at it. I do have a question about what effects if any inhaling the vapors these products produce. I assume they cause some positive effects, or else why use them?
Any research show negative effects?

Forgive me if my response post yesterday seemed a bit snarky...I've been forced to justify myself on this decision more times that I care to admit to some idiotic family members...My brother can be a real PITA.
There are a number of studies that are out, that show the positive effects of vaping versus smoking. Following the links I provided earlier in the thread will show the studies and their results.
The ingredients of the juice are as follows...
Vegetable Glycerin (aka VG) Used in smog machines
Propylene Glycol (aka PG) Used in asthmatic inhalers
Nicotine Nicotine has never been proven addictive to humans, cigarettes have.
Flavoring or flavor extracts. Found in multiple items you consume daily.
Those same ingredients, plus more, is in Nicotrol, a smoking cessation inhaler.
The biggest opponents of e-cigs, those that testify against their use, are funded largely in part by Big Tobacco. BT views this as a massive cut in their profits, and will do anything to stop it. The government is also against it because under current laws, they cannot be taxed as tobacco items, since there is no tobacco in it.
I get a bit passionate about this since I've been able to quit smoking because of it.

No. The company is in Miamisburg, just south of Dayton. The majority of her customer base is from those small smoke shops that litter the area.
