As passed by the Congress and preserved in the National Archives:

"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

As ratified by the States and authenticated by Thomas Jefferson, then-Secretary of State:

"A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed."

If someone does not like the wording, and that includes Mr. Obama, then get the grass-roots movement going and repeal or partially repeal the 2nd Amendment. Opps, I forgot, there's no such grass roots movement.

See, that's the problem. It's a handful of folks with an agenda and those folks are advocating changing the US Consitution. When a majority of folks comment on changing the Consitution which runs contrary to the social progressive crowd, the media and SPs go just crazy.
