The motor is a inline 6, ( M103 with a M104 type 24 V head )

I'm pretty sure the only freeze plugs are on the passenger side ( right side ) and maybe in the bell housing area.

The only real way to check for leaks is to pressurize the cooling system to ~ 14 PSI then look for leaks.
