I have a 16v, that is definitely a rattle can paint job. Agreed with 97 SL320, the factory undercoat probably hides rust better than this paint job given its thickness.

By the way, that is a OEM style exhaust with the center resonator. What is missing is the catalytic convertor from the front downpipe.
