Also used Permatex Ultra Copper sealant--a thin film on both sides of the gasket surrounding both the intake and exhaust openings. So far no leaks. I had been seeing oil leakage from the intake openings due to blowby oil.

Is this the one that is Silicone?
However, if the Ultra-Copper has Silicone and it worked; it worked.

If so that is not what I used.

The Copper-Kote I used is a thin Rubber Cement with Copper granules/Particles suspended in it. Due to the Exhaust and Intake being combined on the Gasket (I also re-used the Turbocharger to Exhaust Manifold Gasket by coating it with Copper-Kote) I used what I did because I felt the Rubber Cement was going to burn off quickly from the Exhaust portion of the Gasket leaving the smash Copper to do the Sealing.

Something with Silicone Sealant is fine for the Intake part of the Gasket. But, it would not be My choice for the Exhaust parts.
