james garner was a great actor and RIP.

not sure how an RIP thread was turned into yet another circle jerk by the forum troll larry, but he should be ashamed of himself for poisoning a RIP thread with his non stop bullshlt. give it a rest for once, everyone knows your extreme judgement of everyone around you, no need to voice it endlessly in every thread on this forum. you dont like mr garner, fine, go home and sulk about it and shut up, secure in your belief that you are a better man. in contributions to mankind, hes a little ahead of you.

returning to james garner, i never caught any of his early work, but was a huge fan of the great escape, support your local gunfighter, and enjoyed some of his later work in movies like space cowboys. in that particular role i find his playing the womanizer and clint playing the faithful husband pretty funny considering clints real life shenanigans.
think ill take a look at some of the maverick episodes and other tv work. wasnt aware of just how much stuff hes actually done.
