This is all interesting.
Following a neck/shoulder injury I suffered a few bouts of a shingles like condition. Was told by Neuro Surgeon that it was typical of a nerve injury. I dont fully understand how the vaccine would work. Any one who has come into contact with chicken pox will have the virus living happily along their spine. its normal. When you get a nerve injury or certain stress conditions, the virus wanders down the nerves & the shingles lesions are seen. If the vaccine works, it would be a good thing. Not only are the shingles lesions painful, it make you feel very sick as well.
