Situation: While turning on a bumpy road, I feel a very slight "looseness" or "clunkiness" being transmitted through to my steering wheel from the front suspension (maybe steering?).

Questions: What suspension (or steering) "wear" parts should I investigate? What will the following tell me -- jack the front wheels and [a] grab at 3 and 9-o'clock and jiggle [b] grab at 12 and 6-o'clock and jiggle?
