I used to use a safety razor back in England during in my late teens and early 20's, then I switch to the 3,4,5 blade razors.
I recently went back to the old ritual and bought a nice safety razor on Amazon and a 100 blades for $10 (yes 100 blades for $10).
As mentioned, it's a ritual that requires a bit more time, and I use proper shaving soap and a brush. It takes a bit more time, but it's an unbelievable experience when compared to using shave gel and a twin + blade.
