From the dept of fwiw, I’ve used a couple of mid sized smaller tractors in the Kubota and smaller Deere size and also a larger one in the name of a Case 590. Hafta say that the Case vastly outperformed the smaller ones. I’m sure they cost more as well but can do about 3x the work in the same time.

I used them mostly for digging, pulling stumps, transporting and grading, and in all events the Case was way more efficient, i guess due to size and brute force. The Case was also more entertaining to use because it is such an amazing bit of very capable machinery.
