What automatic transmission fluid should I put in my 1986 W201 2.3-16v? It has a very good 722.410 automatic transmission in it.
IS there anything at the auto parts store that will be an acceptable replacement for the Mercedes fluid? Is the original fluid a Dexron IID type?
I don't have a dealership within 2 hours of my location.
