Thanks. It's been a regimen since the spring. The dog/power walking and running will taper off when the arctic weather returns.
I had cartilage surgery on my L knee about 5 years ago (Kuan was nice enough to bring us some grass fed, hi quality steak).
Anyhow, I probably ramp up the yoga and taper off the other stuff. I'm approaching 50, so I think flexibility, alignment, posture and functional strength is vital.
I've been practicing Iyengar yoga which is based on the yoga sutra of Patanjali. Mr. Iyengar died 2 wks ago. It's much different than CorePower, YMCA, "McYoga"

In order to teach, you need a min of 3 yrs practice with another teacher. Then pass 2 exams with senior teachers. As opposed to paying $1200 for a weekend yoga workshop and getting a certificate. There are only 6 Iyengar teachers in MN! Teachers typically visit India every year to brush up with the the masters.
I'm sure they have some awesome powerhouses in Cali. Manuso Manos teaches out of the Bay Area, highest ranked teacher besides the Mr. Iyengar.
