The solution would be to wait at the stop bar. . .
Pulling up to the center of an intersection then having traffic pass on the berm is dangerous for oncoming traffic that wants to make a left hand turn.
Regardless, none of this changes the physics of long trailer, tight corner, car stopped into the intersection blocking traffic. ..
