This last one is actually how you are
supposed to drive....
Enter the intersection when your light is green, and wait until you have a clear path to make the left turn. This clearly indicates your intention to other drivers, and makes your turn shorter and faster to complete.
All traffic must wait for the intersection to clear before progressing, and any traffic in the intersection waiting to turn must clear the intersection as soon as it is safe to do so, regardless of the color of the light.
One of the most misunderstood aspects of driving, and one that should really be better taught by driving schools/instructors.
