There is a special manifold that a machine shop uses to properly pressure test a head. I've not found one yet that had this manifold, so there must be another rig for this purpose. I did find a machinist who said he would inspect my MB heads and certify that they were crack free and flat. Charged me $150. Said if it needed to be milled flat they would charge another $250 + the cost of removing the injection nipples (forgot the proper name). Been running that head now for almost a year and have had no problems, so however he checked, must have been right.
