You can get tons of power out of them, if your budget is more than $5.
As stated the "Alda value" has nothing to do with power. Raising its value further than you need to will just make it smoke like a B**** off idle and waste fuel.
You need to raise the full load adjustment or have the pump rebuilt with bigger elements
