I just completed the IP oil change. Another PITA w115 job with old diesel fuel all over the garage floor that had built up in the pump. It kind of had a lacquer or turpentine smell to it.
PS - If anyone has W115 oil canisters for sale with a retrofitted drain on it, I would gladly buy it off you. I'll even send you my original one back.

Is there a metal tube Attached to the middle of the cap of the oil filter housing... it stays on the cap when you take it off ?
If yes, it has a tiny hole down its center... a couple of orings on the outside...and a valve about a third of the way up from the bottom... which you probably can not see... can you blow air through it in either direction ?
