MB Glass Question

hey you guys,

Parked my coupe under a tree and a big walnut fell and cracked the rear windshield. I cried.

The damage looks like almost like a perfect * and it hasn't gotten any bigger since this happened two or so weeks ago. i'm going back and forth between weather i should try to fix it or just live with it.

The way i see it, there are a few options

1.Looks like the glass and seal are available but, sad to say, i'm not really trying to spend $1000+ on the old girl

2. looks like there is a used glass in way low state SC for $125 (condition unknown at this point) and a new seal from MB for $200. Installation i could probably tackle myself, having experience with the front glass a few years back.

3. What's up with those cracked auto glass repair places? is that an option for this type of break?

All advice, opinions and comments are welcome
