I wouldn't worry about a year, just change the oil and drive it. Could change the brake fluid if you wish. The 380 pictured below sat in a field in oklahoma for 10 years, I bought it, and drove it to wisconsin. Ice cold air, and the cruise even worked, surprised me. I did change all the belts, hoses and fluids, but we are talking 10 years.
