I recently replaced motor mounts on the SD. They came looking nice and tall but compressed immediately after they were installed. Is this normal?

The reason for the question is my new top oil cooler line is tied out of the way so that the power steering pump doesn't damage the line. I noticed more room when I lifted the engine.

85SD 240K & stopped counting painted, putting bac together. 84SD 180,000. sold to a neighbor and member here but I forget his handle. The 84 is much improved from when I had it. 85TD beginning to repair to DD status. Lots of stuff to do.
