So, do any of you have trouble with the p0400 also causing a fuel cut? Mine will trip a p0400 and most of the time it then limits the fuel above 3500rpms to the point that the car won't get out of it's own way. It's not limp home mode, it's simply reducing the amount of fuel delivered. I've had my manifold off and it's clean, the flaps are working fine, and my egr valve is very clean and functioning. A coupe of months ago I did the by-pass trick. The hose to the pressure sensor on the drivers side inner fender is good.
I'm pretty much sick of having to reset this code daily to have enough power to drive in traffic. Sometimes it will go 3 days and not reset, sometimes it will go 30 seconds and come back. But I'm really not impressed with an emissions item making the car borderline unsafe by killing the engine's output!
I wish I had a spare pre-'96 pump to fix this problem!
