so check out what I discovered when I went to do a valve adjustment. notice the deep groove cut into the rocker arms from the cam, furthermore check out the rod that runs through all the rocker arms I forget what its called.. it's so deeply scored
I didn't notice how bad the damage actually was until I removed the rocker arms so that I could see under the cam. As I suspected the noise was coming from #3 exhaust using a mechanics stethoscope I noticed the worst damage there.
I'm thinking the best way to proceed is to replace the cam and all lifters that should solve the problem.
