Frank has a good point. A bad set of points could cause this very thing.
One good thing is that a set of points and a condenser are cheap and easy to install unless you have the dual point system. Then this is still a cheap fix; everything just takes twice as long.
The fuel filter could also be the cause. Since you are running carbs you could always look on Ebay for a fuel filter from a 110. Most of the Fintails had a clear glass filter bowl that made checking and changing the filter quite simple.
The filter problem stems from there being enough flow when you are just driving to not enough, due to the clogged filter, to feed the carbs when you stand on it. The new fuel lines might have had dirt in them from storage and now it is all collected in the filter.
Try the cheap fixes before diving into the accelerator pump.
