I recently picked up a laptop with windows 8.1 on it. Terrible OS. It is touch capable (it's a touchscreen laptop) but the tiled interface is clumsy and cluttered. There is no start menu unfortunately...I find myself going into the tiled view and just doing a search for the app I am looking for. Microsoft needs to go backwards and see what made windows 7 great -- intuitive menus and functionality.
