Glad to hear that it's sorted.

I'm having issues with really hard cold start and a rich exhaust smell at hot idle. The Pertronix helped, but not fully.

The carbs are loading up but I can't figure out from where. At idle, there is gas wetness at the top of the rear carb around the air corrector jets.

Did you experience that at all?
