Hooked a vacuum gauge up last evening and the line going to the trans has 12.5 inches vacuum at idle and it drops quickly when I hit the throttle. Didn't drive to check WOT reading. My old mighty vac still works so I tried pulling vac on the line to the trans. It won't hold vacuum. So it looks like it is time to slide under the car and look further. Thanks to all for pointing me the right direction.
