So I currently have a vacuum pump, the kind with one inlet tube not two, apart for cleaning. I just removed it from the ultrasonic cleaner, and I was going to go to put the diaphrams, rubber parts and cover plate back on, when I realized that the cap nut is missing. It's a long-shot, but I was wondering if anyone knows the size of that cap nut - the one that goes all the way through and only pokes through the surface when you clamp down the spring-loaded mechanism ? This way I can avoid taking my vac pump with c-clamp to the hardware store to get the nut.
