How do I remove the rear interior deck panel on a 1994 w124 sedan?
I want to make sure I don't crack the rear speaker grills or bend the rear deck too much - I know it's all a tight fit. So far I know:

1. Remove the rear head rests.
2. Disconnect the center tail light.
3. Remove the rear seats.
4. Remove the rear seat belt side panels (hard to get these out without breaking clips) any advice appreciated.
.....and this is where I get stuck.

Sliding out the rear deck panel is a tight fit and the speaker foam gets in the way.

I think I need to remove the speaker grills too ? ?

Any help is greatly appreciated.
