Some people invest a whole lot of money and time repairing and modifying vechiles perhaps this guy just wants to break even when he calculates everything. In the end it's just a car to everyone else except the owner. Often one can purchase a built up car at a fraction of the price it costs to do the build especially if it is not a highly collectible vechile. It takes a whole lot of know how to actually make money on a car. Perhaps he is realizing this by lowering his asking price but he still has a lot of lowering to do in my opinion.
