If you locate the side of the Pump that has a Flat Plate covering the Advance Piston you will have some way to drain out what ever you put inside of the Pump.

In the Pic you see the Flat Plate and in the next pic you see what is under the Plate an O-ring and one side of the Advance Piston. You cannot remove the Advance Piston without taking the Pump apart so don't play with that.

There is no way to predict if what you do will work. I will depend on if somthing inside rusted and what got rusted.

If you take off the Wrong Plate there will be a Spring or Springs inside and Shims. Just put them back where they came from.
