Obviously I must have skipped class the day the lecture was presented on prying the sides away from the base of the monopost so that one can remove the plastic cover to clean the old grease and then reapply with new grease.

I find it VERY hard to believe that a Mercedes Mechanic is supposed to do this methodically.

My mono wiper works but all of a sudden it is a little of course MEANING that it is touching the roof edging just a little and going underneath the passenger side molding A LOT !!!

Perhaps the gear has jumped course ... Perhaps the grease is old and caked?

I cannot figure how to pry the plastic cover off to get past first base ... I know where that is going folks
