why does it have low oil pressure? my concern is the engine, not the gauge. get a mechanical gauge and screw into the port the sender comes out of. if they agree, you have another problem. i mech. tester is higher than the dash says, then the sender is shot. i have never adjusted a gauge, nor have i been asked to do so. i'm sure that's done at the factory with the correct testers involved.

only low pressure complaints i've dealt with were high mileage, worn out cars. good luck, chuck.
