When they were on and I was traveling or just driving around town I'd listen to them. They're still on the air with old shows. Often they'd give good advice I thought, helping people decide if something was an emergency or not, whether to keep a car limping along and so forth.

I never thought one was smarter than the other but Tom was more likely to poke fun at himself and Ray a little more reserved in his presentation.

A curious combination of comedy and the technical....always fun and a lot less irritating than Dr. Zorba Paster on your health which comes on NPR Saturday morning. Zorba's advice is always good and his fake laugh always very very irritating!
