As us old guys - well - age - there is (and always has been) a changing of the guard. RIP Tom and I hope whatever comes along will be as entertaining.

In the early days of their show they were a little too smart@$$ and not helpful enough, evidently not realizing that most folks don't know much about their cars and really NEED the info. After a while they sort of mellowed out and while they were still humorous there was less "I know something you don't know" and more "Here's probably your problem". I liked the newer stuff better.

I'm well aware of my own mortality but I hope to just croak and not linger like Alzeimer's (see - I can't remember how to spell that!) visits on it's sufferers. "The long goodby"........
