Thank you for the advice. I did it as described in the article linked on jbaj007's reply, except without the RTV sealer. I lightly lubed the o-rings and grommet with oil so they would slide in place without trouble. I guess I should have used sealer instead. I can live with it for now. Sometimes it seeps just enough to be annoying. Other times it is dry.

I did pull the lower pan and replace the gasket also. I also replaced the o-ring from the air filter housing drain tube while I was down there. It's just frustrating to spend the time to do something right and the engine sort-of thumbs its nose at you:p
