At $6.99 a quart it is less than half the price of the Mercedes fluid.

Has anyone used it in their .6?

NAG1 is a MB term, its New Automatic Gearbox 1.

I have used this valvoline fluid in my car and worked OK, no complaints, it shifts a bit strong honestly but you can buy the real mercedes NAG2 fluid (also good for NAG1) cheaper than this from an oil distributor who is a shell jobber.

Look up your area and find one, then call them up, my town has it for 60-65 a box of 12 quarts. Its slightly thinner but it does behave nicely - if you like lexus type smooth shifts.

There is a mechanic I know who uses ATF+4 in these cars because he says it behaves the best and is pretty strong ATF, I drove one car and it felt no different than any other NAG1 car.

p.s. - orielly house brand ATF for imports claims to be usable in MB236.10 too .
