One possibility on the radio could be a bad antenna amp in the tailgate. Sometimes even just cleaning up its contacts helps.

Consider an aftermarket though, if the head unit is shot. You'll need a replacement amp too, since the Bose is fiber-optic, but you'll be in the 21st century.
